The concentrated efforts of Libya’s National Oil Corporation (NOC) and its subsidiaries continue in providing medical equipment and devices needed to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus virus (COVID 19) at all NOC operations in different cities and towns of the country.
In this respect, the Department of Sustainable Development supplied with quantities of medical needs during the last two days 17-18 May 2020 Tobrq Medical Center and many medical centers and hospitals in the city of Greater Benghazi.
Other quantities were delivered to municipality councils in all of Sidra Gulf municipality ( Ras Lanu, Es-Sidra, Ben Jawad), Municipality of Ez-Zweitina, Sultan and the Administrative Council of Tazarbo Municipality in addition to providing with some medical supplies to Petroleum Facilities guards as well as the University of Benghazi.
Representatives of these municipalities attended to receive the medical equipment from the NOC’s warehouse in Qanfouda area of Benghazi, in the presence of Mr. Anwar al-Badri, superintendent of the NOC Benghazi Branch, Mr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Coordinator of the NOC Benghazi branch, the Benghazi Sustainable Development Team, Mr. Mohammed Al-Jahani, Mr. Haitham al-Manoush and Ms. Fatima Kadir.
