Nymo, a yard in Norway, secured a contract from GE Oil & Gas for work on Ghana’s Offshore Cape Three Points (OCTP) development. The contract is for the fabrication of subsea structures.
The contract calls for 18 structures that will include units for flowline end termination, subsea isolation valves, and a gas lift riser base. The equipment will be installed in a water depth of between 130 and 1,600 meters.
Construction work on the subsea structures is set to begin in November with a completion date of sometime in Q1 2017.
