OCI Construction Group was awarded a contract by Technip for work in Algeria. The contract is for Greenfield and brownfield work on Algeria’s Algiers refinery in Sidi Arcine.
Technip is the EPC contractor on site and OCI Algeria, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the OCI Construction Group, will execute some of the civil works, paving works, underground piping, and related brownfield construction work as part of the rehabilitation and adaptation of the refinery.
OCI Construction Group COO, Osama Bishai, commented: “We are pleased to announce a new contract award in Algeria from our new client Technip. This recent contract award is a testament to our strong presence in the country. We are also very pleased to strengthen our existing relationship with a major client such as Sonatrach and look forward to building on our relationship further in the future.”
