Odfjell Rig Extends Stay on Angola Block 18

Odfjell Drilling and BP Angola entered into a contract amendment securing further work for Odfjell offshore Angola. The contract secures the semisubmersible Deepsea Stavanger for further work on Block 18.

The contract is in direct continuation of the existing contract and is for six wells with an estimated total duration of 13 months. This contract secures work for Deepsea Stavanger for BP in Angola through 2015.

The contract value is estimated to be $210 million. In addition, the contract amendment includes two unpriced options for two wells each.
