Lekoil reported that the Ogo-1 sidetrack well is still ongoing. Lekoil, who is partnered with Afren on the well, said that completion on the well is now expected in September. Well testing, as appropriate, will occur thereafter.
As previously announced the Ogo-1 well located on OPL 310 discovered a significant light oil accumulation, based on the results of drilling and wireline logs. The Ogo-1 well is being drilled by Afren as technical partner, under a farm-out to Lekoil of OPL 310 that took place in May.
