The insecurity in Libya has led to Austrian producer, OMV, to shut in the majority of its production. OMV production was shut-in as of June 25.
The social unrest in the country has caused a number of production outages.
Libya contributed approximately 30,000 boepd to OMV’s total production of 303,000 boepd or roughly 10%. The company is closely monitoring the situation inside the county.
