According to an announcement from NOC (the National Oil Corp of Libya), Austrian firm OMV will begin its exploration program in February 2024.
Representatives from OMV met with the Exploration Department of NOC, where they discussed the details of the program it carried out during 2023, and also the works to be performed next year following the lifting of Force Majeure last September.
OMV has stakes in the Sirte Basin and AOO in the Murzuq Basin
