ONHYM and NNPC Present Mega Pipeline to ECOWAS

The state oil and gas concerns for Morocco and Nigeria, ONHYM and NNPC respectively, met with representatives of the Commission of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) to present the progress on the pair’s planned Morocco-Nigeria gas pipeline (MNGP).

ONHYM and NNPC are hoping to gain support from ECOWAS into the deal for the 5,660 km gas pipeline which aims to supply 15 West African countries.

A Memorandum of Understanding between NPPC, ONHYM, and ECOWAS on future potential cooperation is hoped to be signed in the near term.
