OPEC predicts 6.8-million barrel daily drop in demand

According to the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), global oil demand looks set to drop by 6.8 million barrels a day in 2020. The worst of it is expected this month while travel bans and lockdowns aimed at preventing the spread of the coronavirus are still in place in many countries around the world.
