Ophir Energy is planning a spud in Cote d’Ivoire during H1 2017. The company said it will drill the deepwater Ayame-1 well offshore the West African country in late-May.
The well, located on Block CI-513, will target approximately 240 million barrels of Pmean recoverable reserves.
Ophir entered Block CI-513 with the signing of a PSC in March 2016. The company has a 45% operated interest in the block and is partnered with African Petroleum and Petroci on the acreage.
