Eland Oil & Gas saw its production restart at the Opuama field located on OML 40. Gross production on the field has stabilized at an average rate of over 3,500 bpd.
Eland also reported that its JV company, Elcrest Exploration and Production, has received payment for its August lifting from Shell Western Supply & Trading. Elcrest has now sold and received funds for a total of 46,022 barrels of crude to date.
Elcrest’s next lifting is expected to take place in early September and is due to be a cargo of around 38,000 barrels of crude.
