Osinbajo to Inaugurate Fertilizer Plant

Nigeria’s acting president, Yemi Osinbajo, will inaugurate a fertilizer plant in Port Harcourt built by Indorama Eleme Fertilizer and Chemicals Ltd. The plant, which has capacity for 1.5 mtpa of urea fertilizer, is the world’s largest single-train Urea plant, and one of the most ambitious green field projects undertaken by Indorama in Nigeria.

The $1.5 billion plant has a production capacity of 4,000 metric tons of nitrogenous fertilizers per day.
