Lekoilis startingthe acquisitionof 3D seismic on the Otakikpo Marginal Field on Nigeria’s OML 11. Permits were issued and the mobilization was completed. Line cutting has commenced and is currently in progress while preparations for seismic recording operations are at an advanced stage. The survey is expected to complete in June.
The survey is being acquired by Sinopec Changjiang Engineering Services (Sinopec).Following the completion of this seismic acquisition, Lekoil will then process and interpret the new 3D seismic data.
