Pertamina Gets Go Ahead for Algerian Development

Monday, October 26, 2015

Pertamina, the state-run firm from Indonesia, received approval from the Algerian government to move forward with the development of its discoveries in the country.

Pertamina expects to begin drilling development wells in 2016, and estimates peak output of up to 30,000 bpd, upstream director Syamsu Alam told reporters.

“This is important because reserves can be brought to Indonesia,” Alam said.
