Panafrican Energy Services Group (PESG) signed a strategic contract with Cote d’Ivoire’s state-run oil firm, Petroci, to supply several lifts for the Lion and Panther gas fields located on Block CI-11 offshore the country.
Installation work will be executed by US oil services company Halliburton.
The new pumps provided by PESG are expected to contribute to a significant additional production gain on the two fields that mainly feed the turbines of the thermal facilities of the Ivorian electricity generation company (Ciprel).
“As a pan-African and local company, we are always happy to reduce production costs by improving the quality of service to our customers,” said Anthony Thia-Labi, PESG West Africa Director.
