Petrofac Resumes Work in Tunisia

Petrofac has restarted its activities in Tunisia off the island of Kerkennah after five months of suspension. Work resumed with the evacuation of the gas that accumulated while shut in.

According to the Tunisian press agency TAP, quantities produced since then were transported via the port of Sidi Fraj instead of that of Sidi Youssef to avoid areas where protesters blocked the way.

Petrofac’s activities on the island were shut in due to social unrest in the area.
