Petromin Corp. out of Saudi Arabia plans to invest in Egypt’s retail petroleum products market. The company will invest $28 million in expanding a network of fuel stations and service centers.
The company also plans to construct a lubricants blending plant.
Over the last 18 months Petromin has added 18 new fuel stations to its network and plans to grow further in Egypt. By 2020, it intends to have a network of 100 gas stations and serve over 1.5 million customers every year, according to a Zawya report.
In addition, the company currently operates four service centers that provide vehicle servicing and amenities to Egyptian customers.
With an aim toward its further expansion in Egypt, Petromin opened its new headquarters in Maadi, Cairo.
