PetroSA to Shut-in Mossel Bay

Friday, June 21, 2013

In South Africa the country’s state-run firm PetroSA will see its operations at its Mossel Bay facilities suspended. The firm said the facilities will be shut down for 37 days for scheduled maintenance.

PetroSA issued a warning to its customers that products such as LPG, propane, carbon dioxide, liquid nitrogen and liquid oxygen would not be available while the facilities are undergoing maintenance. The company has made contingency plans for the supply of diesel and petrol in the Southern Cape region.

The shut-in includes PetroSA’s GTL plant and the offshore FA platform.
