PFG On Alert for Oil Field Attacks

In Libya the commander of the Petroleum Facilities Guard (PFG) of Dignity Operation in the eastern region, Muftah Magerief, announced a heightened degree of alert by his forces at the oil fields in the region. According to a report from the Libya Observer, the PFG’s heightened alert is in anticipation of any attack from the armed groups led by ISIS, which is still active in the central and southern region.

According to the Media Office of the PFG, Magerief gave instructions to his forces to deploy in all fields and to take care and caution, stressing that the situation in the oil fields is currently going normally and well.
