PKN Orlen Buys Angolan Crude

Angolan crude is being bought up by Poland’s biggest oil refiner PKN Orlen. The Polish firm, in an attempt to broaden its supply base away from Russia, will receive a shipment of 130,000 tons of crude from Angola in February 2019.

The Angolan crude is not PKN Orlen’s first foray into West African crude, in October it received its first ever shipment of Nigerian oil.
