The initial crude produced from Chinese Poly GCL’s recent start-up of production operations from its facilities in Ethiopia are being delivered to Addis Ababa to power the Chinese Hanson International Glass factory. The glass factory taken delivery of the first 45,000 liters.
Running successful tests, the Chinese Poly GCL which has been trying to develop, the natural gas reserves in the Calub, Hilala and Genale gas fields is now able to deliver crude oil to be used as furnace oil in the glass factory. The glass manufacturer is one of the plants in Ethiopia lining up to receive production from the fields to power their respective plants.
Poly GCL hired Quadrant Investment Group for the logistics and transportation services of the extracted crude.
