Pre-Salt Exploration and Partnership investment in West Africa, to be discussed in June

The West African oil market is undergoing a crucial period of growth.  Exploring West Africa’s vast potential for commercial oil finds is now being realised, with majors and juniors striving to unlock the potential and capitalise on pre-salt plays.

Countries including Angola and Gabon have already made significant headway.  With unquestionable similarities to Brazil’s pre-salt reserves, Namibia continues its quest for lucrative oil discoveries.

Following the resounding success of our forum in December 2012, the West Africa Exploration and Pre-Salt Forum returns to uncover the key strategic and commercial opportunities related to the region’s current programs.  Members of country specific governments, national and international oil companies, foreign investors, seismic and oilfield service providers and all other major stakeholders within the industry will share their insights on optimising offshore pre-salt and subsea exploration within West Africa, a region with high impact exploration prospects and potential for lucrative investment opportunities.

The forum unites pre-eminent industry figures who will share their insights in various panel discussions conferring about:

• Aligning objectives with local communities to achieve a sustainable economy and business growth
