Production Restarts at Al-Sharara Field

Libya’s National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced that the force majeure declared on the Al-Sharara field on January 7 has been lifted and full production has resumed.

Force majeure had been declared due to ongoing protests.

Located in the Muzuq Basin in the south of the country, participants in the Al-Sharara field include state firm Acacus, Equinor, OMV, Repsol, and Total.
