Progress Made on Gas Sales Protection in Tanzania

Aminex plc reported that movement is being seen on concluding a gas sales agreement in Tanzania. Company chief executive, Jay Bhattacherjee, said that “good progress” was being made in concluding payment protection terms with TPDC.

Bhattecherjee said that after a long delay TPDC advised the company that the gas sales agreement for Kiliwani North can be concluded in the near future, enabling gas from the field to be sold into the pipeline system soon afterwards.
