Leading integrity and maintenance solutions provider, Walker Technical, an internationally recognised name in composite repairs, announces further expansion into Global markets having joined forces with Louisiana-based Fairwinds International. Fairwinds will be the Walker Technical distributor in the U.S.A and will operate under the name Technopipe America, L.L.C., providing composite pipe repair services to United States clientele.
WTR’s innovative Technowrap™ product line is engineered for high quality composite repair and maintenance of pipelines. “Technowrap products have application in a wide range of industries,” said Glenn Mediamolle, Vice-President of Operations at Technopipe. “Our initial focus will be to serve the oil, gas, and petrochemical communities. The Technowrap™ products are the new industry standard for composite pipe technology. Having an American base of operations will make a tremendous market impact.”
Bill Napier, CEO of Fairwinds International added: “We are honored and pleased to become Walker Technical’s sole distributor in the U.S. This product line has already revolutionized pipe repair with its warranties, tremendous applications specifications and flexibility. We’ve completed operational training and are ready to begin servicing the company’s worldwide clients within our domestic territory.”
