UK firm Rockhopper Exploration has announced that its 2019 drilling program is set. The drilling program for Egypt will include one exploration well on the onshore Al Jahraa field on the Abu Sennan concession. In addition, the program will include two in-fill oil producing wells and a second water injection well. The program comes after joint venture agreement was achieved.
At the Al Jahraa-11 location, a 20-inch conductor has been set in place and the drilling rig has been mobilized to the site. The well is expected to spud by the end of February, with an estimated 54-day drilling time.
