Andrey Kemarsky, the ambassador from Russia to Mozambique, revealed that Russia was looking for greater involvement in the East African country’s hydrocarbon sector.
Kemarsky, speaking after a meeting with Mozambican President Filipe Nyusi said that Mozambique had great potential in natural resources, including oil, which is why, Russia is attracted to invest in the sector.
“Russia seeks greater involvement in this sector, through research and exploration, construction of oil and gas pipelines. There are many plans, what matters is to put them into practice,” said the ambassador.
