South Africa’s new Energy Minister Jeff Radebe will lead a 16-strong delegation from the Department of Energy for two days of engagement with senior executives in the gas value chain. In a letter addressed to the Energy Council, the Department of Energy’s Director General Thabane Zulu stated that the Minister was looking forward to meeting with fellow African Ministers and investors in to Energy in Africa.
Following his recent comments at the Launch of the Black Energy Professionals Association (BEPA) where Radebe stated that the LNG-to-Power Program will be the main vehicle through which to stimulate the envisioned gas market in South Africa and that it requires an all-inclusive effort by the general government and other stakeholders in South Africa, Radebe will address the audience at the Gas-to-Power Africa Congress on the gas economy in South Africa.
