SacOil Picks up Three Botswana Licenses

SacOil has picked up new acreage in Africa. The company’s Botwana subsidiary, Transfer Holdings (Proprietary) Ltd., was advised by the Botswana Department of s that three exploration licenses were duly approved.

SacOil’s awarded licenses are 123/2013, 124/2013, and 124/2013. The awards were official on April 29.

The Botswana awards add to SacOil’s acreage position in Africa where in addition to the recently awarded acreage it holds stakes in Nigeria, DRC, and Malawi.
