San Leon Spuds in Morocco

San Leon Energy spud the El Aaiun-4 well on the Tarfaya conventional license, onshore Morocco. The well is being drilled with Entrepose Drilling’s Cabot 750 rig and is expected to take approximately 30 days to reach total depth.

The company is targeting a reservoir in the Tertiary channel sandstones.

San Leon is the operator of the Tarfaya license and holds a 75% net operated interest. ONHYM holds the remaining 25% interest.
