In Niger, Savannah Petroleum saw the completion of its 3D seismic acquisition program. The company acquired around 800 sq km of seismic on a portion of its R3 license in southeast Niger.
The seismic acquisition program was completed approximately two weeks ahead of schedule and on budget.
The data acquired will now be processed and interpreted, with further updates being provided in due course.
Andrew Knott, CEO of Savannah Petroleum, said, “I would like to thank the Savannah operational team and our contractor, BGP Niger, for their hard work and efforts in safe and successful delivery of this large 3D seismic survey. With this now complete, we look forward with great excitement to moving into the drilling operations phase on our Niger project.”
