Serinus’ Tunisian Production up in Q3

Tuesday, October 20, 2015

Serinus Energy gave an update on its Q3 production in Tunisia, along with its activities. The company saw working interest production from Tunisia for Q3 flow at 1,343 boepd, 11% higher than its working interest production in the previous quarter. Oil averaged 1,053 bpd, and gas was 1.7 Mmcf/d. The increase was due substantially to the return of the Sabria Field, and the resolution of operational issues with STEG (the national gas utility and transmission utility in Tunisia) related to high ambient temperatures in late-June which limited gas sales from Chouech Es Saida.

Subsequent to the end of Q3, Serinus saw production for October to date average 1,120 boepd. The WIN-12bis well, which was producing over 1,000 boepd (450 boepd SEN WI), is currently shut-in and undergoing remedial work to remove blockage in the production tubing.

The company saw two tanker lifts of oil during Q3.

On the operation end Serinus drilled, completed, and tested the WIN-13. It also saw the installation of coiled tubing in the ECS-1 completed.

In addition to the above Serinus revealed that its Sabria Field could be capable of a multi-well development program, however due to current low crude prices, no additional drilling is expected for 2015.
