Sharara Field Sees New Setback

Libya’s Sharara field has hit another snag with production once again being halted. Production came to a halt this time due to a pipeline blockade.

According to Reuters’ sources, production has been shut down since August 19 by the Zintan Brigade and state-run NOC declared force majeure on oil shipments from the site on August 20.
