Shell lifts Forcados force majeure

Nigeria’s Forcados crude oil is back online and ready for export after Shell lifted the force majeure following the reopening of the pipeline transporting operator, Heritage Energy Operational Services Limited, according to a company statement.

The pipeline had been shut down since April 4, and Shell declared the force majeure on April 6.

Forcados exports are projected at 245,000 barrels per day (bpd) in May and 283,000 bpd in April.
