Shell Nigeria and Oyo State Sign MoU for Gas Projects

In a bid to boost industrial development and increase the economic potential of Nigeria’s Oyo state, yesterday evening, the Oyo state government signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Shell Nigeria Gas (SNG) to develop a Gas Master Plan Project for Oyo State.

The MoU will result in the company expanding its gas pipeline infrastructure to the state. The Gas Pipeline Infrastructure Project will be run on a Build, Operate and Transfer basis for 15 years, according to Governor Seyi Makinde.

Shell will also assist the state government develop its gas masterplan.
