Sierra Leone Negotiating with Iran for Refinery

Sierra Leone and Iran are said to be negotiating the construction of oil refineries. Based on the negotiations, during the first stage, Iran will construct oil storage depots in Sierra Leone, followed by the construction of the refinery.

Iran’s National Iranian Oil Engineering Co. (NIOEC), in an effort to secure the marketing of Iranian crude, has held talks with a number of countries to construct or buy stakes in refineries.
