Sierra Leone Resource Update

African Petroleum saw its prospective oil resources on its SL-03 and SL-4A-10 blocks in Sierra Leone updated. The company holds the blocks with a 100% interest. ERC Equipoise Ltd. prepared the assessment of prospective oil resources.

ERC’s assessment includes four prospects and estimates the net prospective oil resources relating to the blocks as 1.3 billion barrels net unrisked prospective oil resources and net risked resources at 223 million barrels.

Stuart Lake, African Petroleum’s CEO, comments: “We are delighted that we have seen such a material increase to our independently assessed net unrisked prospective oil resources during Q1.”
