SinoHydro to Construct Egyptian Refinery

China’s SinoHydro signed a $1.99 billion contract to construct a 155,000 bpd refinery with Sokhna Refinery and Petrochemicals Company. Under the terms of the contract, the refinery will be complete in under four years.

SinoHydro will be responsible for the design, procurement, and construction of the refinery’s facilities.
