The Sirte Oil and Gas Production and Processing Company reports that it has obtained impressive results with its 3D seismic surveys in the Ghadames and Sirte basins in the Libyan desert. The security and logistical conditions of these two basins located deep in the desert was challenging, according to a statement by Chairman of the Board Mohamed Ventri.
Ventri informed that the projects were carried out by local engineers and technicians and the results achieved through these surveys reflected the quality of evaluation and monitoring work carried out by the team on a daily basis.
The 3D seismic surveys were conducted over a total area of 3,560 sq km as follows:
