Sonangol and Total will break ground on a new deepwater oil project that will add over 30,000 bpd to Angola’s oil production capacity. The project, part of the Rosa oil field on Block 17, involves four multi-phase high-pressure pumps installed close to the seabed floor, linking up with existing subsea network.
“These pumps allow recovery of about 42 million barrels of additional reserves,” Sonangol said in a statement.
