Sonangol to Deploy New Rigs

The rigs were constructed by Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering out of South Korea.

The Angolan state-run firm hopes that the leasing of the rigs to firms active in the country will aid in boosting exploration and production.

The two rigs are set to enter service soon, according to Sonangol.
