The Sonatrach Group announced that the “donation of a day of work” for Group employees, initiated in partnership with the National Federation of Petroleum, Gas and Chemical Workers (FNTPGC) as part of National Solidarity for the fight against the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus has been a very popular tool with the workers and has raised a considerable sum of money. Donations from the program reached 53 billion centimes (approx $4.1 million).
This amount was reached thanks to the voluntary involvement of the workers of SONATRACH and its various subsidiaries: Naftal, Enageo, Engtp, Engcb, Entp, Ensp, Bjsp, Hesp, Tta, Aec, 25p, Baosem, Cash, Safir, Somiz , Somik, Enac, Sotraz, Cogiz, G-Cco, Enafor, Mi-Algeria, Algesco, Sarpi, Sth, Asmidal, Hyproc and Tal.
Sonatrach stated it is more than ever loyal to its corporate citizenship credo, and will always be present to support all actions aimed at strengthening National Solidarity.
