The President and Managing Director of the Sonatrach Group, Rachid Hachichi met with the President and Managing Director of TotalEnergies, Patrick Pouyanné, along with senior executives of the two companies this week to discuss mutual endeavors in the North African country’s petroleum industry along with new opportunities.
During the meeting the parties discussed the level of historical partnership between Sonatrach and TotalEnergies and reviewed the progress of the projects currently being implemented.
They also agreed to identify partnership opportunities, particularly in upstream oil both in Algeria and internationally.
