Sonatrach, BP and Statoil Sign MoU

Sonatrach signed a MoU with two operators in Algeria – BP and Statoil. The MoU is aimed at strengthening cooperation between the three, particularly in upstream oil exploration, a joint statement said, without providing further details.

BP and Statoil are already present in Algeria, working with Sonatrach at the Tiguentourine gas plant in the In Amenas region.
