Sound Energy saw the mobilization of the National 110 UE traditional rig for the upcoming first well on its Tendrara license area in Morocco. The rig has been mobilized from Mauritania and is expected to arrive on site in early March.
The company has also announced that it has now received final approval from the Moroccan National Environmental Committee for the first and second Tendrara wells. There are no other approvals required before drilling can commence.
Civil works on site at Tendrara, including the upgrading of local infrastructure and the preparation of the camp and the two well pad areas, continue ahead of the rig’s arrival.
