Sound Energy has spud the first well in its planned three-well drilling program. The company spud the TE-9 well on October 17 on the Greater Tendrara permit in Morocco.
The TE-9 well will test the A1 prospect in the company’s permit area, located roughly 19 km northwest of its Tendrara production concession.
The main wellbore will be drilled and logged at a depth of approximately 3,022 meters, intended to drill both the TAGI as a primary target as well as the underlying Paleozoic. It is expected to take between 35 and 45 days.
