South African Workers Plan Strike

Workers in South Africa’s petroleum sector are expected to launch a strike this week, following a breakdown in negotiations over wages.

According to a report on Talk Radio 702 more than 15,000 employees from Chemical, Energy, Paper, Printing, Wood and Allied Workers Union (CEPPWAWU) will down tools on the morning of July 28.
