STR Announces Agreement with Guidance Marine to Supply Their Range of Position Reference Sensors
Subsea Technology & Rentals Ltd (STR); global specialists in the design, manufacture and rental of advanced subsea technology for the offshore energy industry has announced an agreement with Guidance Marine to supply their range of position reference sensors for Dynamic Positioning (DP).
Guidance Marine is a leading global developer and supplier of Dynamic Positioning (DP) position measurement technologies for high value offshore marine markets for real-time vessel positioning and manoeuvring.
Designed to meet all IMO DP class requirements, their laser and microwave Artemis®, CyScan®, RadaScan®, RadaScan® View and RangeGuard® sensors will now be available for hire direct from STR’s head office in Great Yarmouth.
Neil Jackson, Sales and Operations Manager at STR, commented on expanding their inventory of Dynamic Positioning technology and the benefits customers can expect. “Guidance Marine positioning sensors have been developed for their highest levels of safety, reliability, accuracy, and ease of use.
