Tanker Explosion Kills Scores in Mozambique

An explosion on an overturned tanker truck in Mozambique has led to at least 73 people dying. On November 17, a truck exploded while people were trying to siphon fuel from the overturned vessel.

According to a statement from the government, the truck was transporting fuel to Malawi from Mozambique’s port city of Beira. The truck was near the border when the accident occurred.
