Tanzania has awarded Dubai’s ENOC its first tender to supply oil products to the East African country. The state-run firm won the tender from Tanzania’s Petroleum Importation Coordinator to supply nearly 170,000 tons of oil products for delivery in February.
The importers, who represent oil marketing companies in Tanzania, were seeking two combination cargoes for delivery into Kurasini Oil Jetty. One of them was for 5,300 tons of 500 ppm sulphur gasoil and 31,475 tons of gasoline according to a Reuters report. The other cargo was for 16,700 tons of gasoil, 19,241 tons of jet fuel, and 800 tons of kerosene. There is also a need for 94,927 tons of gasoil for delivery into the country’s single point mooring.
